Location:
Bayou Wings is based in the small Mississippi delta town of Leland. Situated approximately 135 miles south of Memphis, TN and just seven miles east of Greenville, Mississippi, Leland offers easy access to hotel lodging, riverboat gambling, fine dining and world-class waterfowl hunting. During the winter months this area is home to hundreds of thousands of ducks (Mallard, Pintail, Gadwall, Widgeon, Teal, Wood Duck) and geese (Canada, Snow, Speckled-belly). Come and join us this season, this many ducks can't be wrong.

Description:
A certified wildlife biologist manages approximately 10,000 acres of select property for waterfowl hunting. These properties are managed to provide an assortment of quality habitat types to maximize your opportunities for hunting success. Depending on which habitat the ducks and geese are utilizing at the time of your hunt, you may hunt flooded rice, milo, or soybean fields; moist soil impoundments; flooded green timber; or cypress swamps. You may hunt from a pit blind, skid blind, coffin blind or seated in the timber. No matter where the waterfowl tell us to hunt, all of our areas are easily accessed and comfortable. Be assured, your guide is a skilled professional dedicated to making your hunt a memorable experience.

What You Can Expect:
Bayou Wings hunts are all private parties limited to no more than four persons (your dog is welcome). On the morning of the hunt you and your friends will meet the guides at the Leland Cafe´ for a buffet style Southern breakfast (our compliments). After breakfast you will follow the guide to the hunting area in your personal vehicle. Transportation to and from the duck blind will be provided. Your guide will set decoy, call the ducks and geese, help shoot cripples, and retrieve downed birds. Everyone is expected to shoot his or her own limit of waterfowl and adhere to all federal and state game laws. Hunts are mornings only and end around 10:30 a.m. After the hunt, everyone returns to Bayou Wings headquarters to swap stories and enjoy refreshments.

Afternoon Activities:
Guided quail hunts, sporting clays, and oxbow lake fishing trip are available locally by appointment. You may choose to take advantage of the wildlife viewing opportunities at some of our local state parks, wildlife management areas, or national wildlife refuges. A public golf course and tennis courts are also nearby. If gambling is your interest, then our world class riverboat gaming is only minutes away.
